The Red Rock Resistance

What can I do?

If you're wondering how you can help resist the 8,400-home development in Red Rock Canyon, Sandy F. has the following suggestions:

  1. Write letters to your Clark County Commissioner(s), BLM representatives, and other government officials. Address can be found here.
  2. Spread the work to all groups you interact with.
  3. Download a copy of our petition, get 35 signatures, and return it to Serrin Anderson. Petitions are available in three flavors:
  4. Attend the Clark County Planning Commission meeting on October 3, 2002.
  5. Write letters to the various news media. Their addresses can be found here.

Here are a couple of suggestions from the editor:

  1. Visit this web site's forum [here] and post a message in the guest book [here]. Look for posters who share your point of view and contact them via e-mail. See what you can do together.
  2. Send e-mail to those people in your address book you think might share your concern. Get an e-mail "tree" going. It doesn't matter where in the country (or the world) you live; this affects all!
  3. Visit redrock.org regularly. New information is posted all the time.
